NASA's SpaceX Crew-13: Dragon Spacecraft Separation | International Space Station

Watch Crew-13's Dragon spacecraft separate from the Falcon 9’s rocket's second stage . . .

A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket launched Crew-13 to the International Space Station aboard their Crew Dragon spacecraft at 11:10 a.m. Eastern Time (ET) from Cape Canaveral in Florida. The crew then began their approximately 7-hour, 50-minute journey to the International Space Station. At the time of launch, the space station was orbiting at 17,500 miles per hour (28,200 kilometers per hour) about 263 miles over Earth, northwest of Havana, Cuba. It passed directly over NASA’s Kennedy Space Center about 1 minute, 37 seconds after launch.

Crew-13: NASA astronauts Jessica Watkins and Luke Delaney, Canadian Space Agency astronaut Joshua Kutryk, and Roscosmos cosmonaut Sergey Teteryatnikov of Russia

Once they arrive, they will spend the next several months in orbit, helping us learn how to live in space while running scientific experiments intended to help make life better back on Earth.
