Friends of NASA Plans & Objectives (2018)

Our initial goal for 2017 is to raise $50,000 USD to support Friends of NASA's operations, to fund scholarships to the International Space University, to support planetary science and to promote space advocacy.

Planned Non-Profit Partnerships:

International Space University
We plan to work with the International Space University near Strasbourg, France to fund scholarships for students of all nationalities in developed and developing countries and to support their social media initiatives.

The International Space University is a private non-profit institution, formally recognized as an institute of higher education in France. It specializes in providing graduate-level training to the future leaders of the emerging global space community at its Central Campus in Strasbourg, France, and at locations around the world. In its two-month Space Studies Program (SSP) and one-year Masters program, ISU offers its students a unique core curriculum covering all disciplines related to space programs and enterprises, space science, space engineering, systems engineering, space policy and law, business and management, and space and society.

We plan to partner with international planetary science
organizations to support research activities here on Earth and on other planets in our solar system and to exoplanets beyond.

Friends of NASA Mission:
Friends of NASA is dedicated to building international support for peaceful space exploration, commerce, scientific discovery and STEM education.
