SpaceX Falcon 9 Cygnus Cargo Spacecraft Launch | International Space Station

SpaceX Falcon 9 Cygnus Cargo Spacecraft Launch | International Space Station

For NASA’s Commercial Resupply Services-20 (CRS-20) NG-20 mission, a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket launched the Northrop Grumman Cygnus spacecraft, dubbed “S.S. Patricia “Patty” Hilliard Robertson”, from Space Launch Complex 40 (SLC-40) at Cape Canaveral in Florida on January 30, 2024, at 12:07pm EST. The NG-20 Cygnus will deliver up to 3,748 kg (8,263 pounds) of supplies to the International Space Station. It is scheduled to be captured by the station’s robotic arm on February 1, 2024.

The NG-20 Cygnus Cargo Delivery Spacecraft is named after the former NASA astronaut Patricia Hilliard Robertson. Following stage separation, Falcon 9’s first stage landed at the Cape Canaveral Landing Zone 1 (LZ-1). Falcon 9’s first stage (B1077) previously supported 9 missions: Crew-5, GPS III SV06, Inmarsat-6 F2, CRS-28, Intelsat G-37 and four Starlink missions.
