NASA's Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope: What You Need To Know
NASA’s Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope will give us a sweeping new view of the universe, capturing enormous areas of the sky while delivering high-resolution, sensitive observations.
Roman will investigate some of astronomy’s major mysteries, from dark energy and dark matter to the evolution of galaxies and worlds beyond our solar system. With its powerful Wide Field Instrument, Roman will survey billions of cosmic objects and could reveal discoveries scientists have not imagined yet.
Named after NASA’s first chief astronomer, the Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope will have a deep, panoramic view of the cosmos, producing images over 100 times larger than our Hubble Space Telescope, but with the same crisp resolution.
