U.S. Spacewalk 95: Preview Animation - June 2026 | International Space Station
This animation previews an upcoming spacewalk outside the International Space Station targeted for June 30, 2026, to repair a wrist joint on the Canadarm2. NASA astronauts Chris Williams and Jessica Meir will venture outside the space station hatch in order to repair the joint. When the astronauts turn their spacesuits to battery power at 8:35 a.m. it will mark the beginning of their spacewalk. Fiona Antkowiak, spacewalk flight director, narrates this animation.
Williams and Meir will spend about six hours and 40 minutes in the vacuum of space replacing a malfunctioning wrist joint on the Canadarm2 that has been in operation since it was installed on April 26, 2001. This will be the duo’s second spacewalk together.
