Shenzhou-17 Crewed Mission: Docking | China Space Station

China has sent its youngest crew ever to the China Space Station. The Shenzhou-17 crew spacecraft made a fast, automated rendezvous and docked with the front port of the space station's core module Tianhe at 09:46 UTC (17:46 China Standard Time) on Oct. 26, 2023.

The Shenzhou-17 crew was successfully launched by their Long March-2F Y17 rocket from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center, China, on October 26, 2023, at 03:14 UTC (11:14am China Standard Time). Shenzhou-17 is the sixth crew of three taikonauts (astronauts) on a mission to the China Space Station: Hongbo Tang (汤洪波, Commander), Shengjie Tang (唐胜杰) (Mission Specialist) and Xinlin Jiang (江新林) (Mission Specialist).
